On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Thane District Housing Federation organized a felicitation program at Late Narendra Ballal Hall of the Thane Municipal Corporation to honor women Deputy Commissioners of the Thane Municipal Corporation and newly elected women corporators from all political parties. The program was attended by Mayor Mrs. Sharmila Pimpalolkar, Deputy Mayor Krishnaji Patil, Thane Municipal Commissioner Saurabh Rao, Additional District Collector Mrs. Revati Gaikar, Federation President Sitaram Rane, and other dignitaries. In the presence of these distinguished guests, all 42 women corporators elected to the Thane Municipal Corporation, along with Deputy Commissioners Mrs. Anagha Kadam, Mrs. Suchita Sancheti, and Mrs. Meenal Palande, as well as Federation Sales Recovery Officers Mrs. Ujjwala Jadhav, Mrs. Madhuri More, and Mr. Manoj Devre, were felicitated. On this occasion, books containing information about bylaws and regulations related to the functioning of housing societies were presented as gifts. Additionally, an attractive selfie point was created on the first floor of the Thane Municipal Corporation building for the event, where many women corporators clicked photographs.
